nope, it actualy sounds worse than it used to... spoke to a bloke who worked at nissan as a mech, he rekons in the 8 yrs he was there he never heard of a conrod going right thru the side of a block, only ever fractured them he rekons. he figures there musta bin a hairline fracture in the block already.
and yes, a conversion may well be on the cards... just as soon as i finance getting a new vehicle............
