headlight replacements

Post by barbz »

Hi all,

Last night was my first time driving the patrol at night - the head lights are rubbish.

Has anyone had any success in changing out the bulbs or reflectors or anything?

Cheers

I fitted HID to my GU patrol 35w low beam and 70 high beam good quality kit. they are about $700 and have an 18 month warranty.

The are more than the ebay kits however they last over corrugations and dunking them in water, but you pay for what you get.

Ive tried in the past different globes however you create more heat with higher wattage globes.
