simex 35 10.5 16 on a rover

ok who has run these on a rover?

what set up? (rim, offset and vehicle)

been offered a set to buy and want to know how they will go on my 110

what offset will i need for these? probably run an 8 inch rim

can they be had in the same height (35) but narrower?
there width is more like 12 inches....

not a big fan of wide tyres....

and wheres the best place, brisbane or gold coast to buy?

I run 35 x 10.5 centrepedes on my 87 Rangie

Rims are eastern wheel works 16 x 8's alot of the guys run 7's and i think the off set is 80

Rangie needs 2 inch body lift & 2-3 inch spring lift

how do you find them?

what are they worth retail?

ok stupid question, but how do you measure offset.

i normally measure from mounting face to inside edge of rim but i think this is back space???????

is it true the narrower the rim(within the tyres alowed size) the narrower the tyre will be, and taller????

I've run them on 130mm 100mm and 80mm backspace rims all 8", 100mm is ample 80mm is better, have mates who run them on 7" and seem to get less beadleaks or rolling them off, but maybe I'm a little more erratic in my driving

Id try using a disco 1 rim and turn it over and re do the tapered seats in the other face of the rim that will give a good off set and will hold the tyre well enough

ran the 35 x10.5 on a 8" rim on my 90, 4" spacing eachway, 2" lift and abit of flare trimming. rubbed a little but not much, pretty good tyre, ran them around 8-10psi never had a puncture or popped a bead.

they tend to dig in on shaley stuff a bit though, now got 35 x 12.50 maxxis creepys and better off road but worse on road then the simex.
