When I put my standard Rangie rear coils in the front it gave me a 2" lift from a stock height. This is because the standard coils would have been sagged a bit. I imagine it would have been 2.5" from where it was sitting in its sagged state.

So will the 80's fronts in the rear of the Rangie give it a 3.5" lift or is it less ??
I'm just trying to sort it out as I only want about 2" - 2.5" lift and I have been looking around for a 2" lift at ARB, Ironman and a few others but all I keep getting told I can only get about a 30mm - 40mm max and don't seemed to be to interested in helping me at all after I told them it was for a Rangie
I'm looking at 2" as I wan't to try and fit some 285/75/16's under it
and I am willing to trim the guards to fit them if need be as I already have the flexi flares donated to me

I can get you coils and that will sit you any height that you want but they will be Range Rover coils not 80 Series. I will need to know what accessories you have so we can get her to sit level.Nice_Surf wrote:So will the 80's fronts in the rear of the Rangie give it a 3.5" lift or is it less ??

You are going to have to trim your guards no matter what. You have to trim them for 31" tyres and you are planning on 33" tyres just about. Make sure you draw it first. Don't do it free hand like me

I will give you a buzz when I am ready for the lift as I was only asking about the 80's as I was told they should fit was all.
And how much lift will I need for 33's as thats the max size tyre I want to run which is why I was looking at some 285/75/16

I ran 33" tyres with a 2" lift. Basically just get the lift you want and cut guards to suit. If you did want 35" tyres for arguments sake then I would get a body lift to accommodate them. Others may have had other experiences.
I think it does depend on the offset of the rim. My rims were Hurricanes which were zero offset and it worked well for me and ran 675mm rear shocks which are 5" longer then the normal 2" lift shocks.
Cheers
