vitara 1.6 auto rad into sierra

Post by nicbeer »

Hey,

anyone done this?

Is there a bolt in method getting this in or is it a weld bracket job? Brackets dont look like they will mount easy on the rad.

Any pics?

reason - 1.3 rad is leaking and dead looking like it and 400 bux for recore or new and have a 1.6 auto vit rad from my old front cut available.

Thanks

Nic

When I measured it up for mine to get it under the bonnet it would be very close to the steering box if it fit at all. I have jimny p/s though and I think the box is bigger.

got a quote today for $240 delivered... but found someone thats going to fix it up properly for 50 cash, so next time it breaks it is new one time.

checked out the vit on myself also and damn close on everything down there without cutting and welding mounts and stuff. i am planning for vit power steer also so gotta make space for that.
