troopcarrier seats in a SWB

Post by glen1n »

Hello everyone. I am the proud owner of a 1986 70 series bundera Crusier, and the only sad thing about it, is i can only fit two pasengers in the front seats. i was thinking about heading down to the wreckers and grabbing some troopcarrier seats and chopping them in half because of my short wheel base (which i love), but something tells me that that wont work? Any suggestions?
:? Cheers
Glen

most troop carriers i have been in have had 2 2person seats on each side, but i'm not sure if a bundy is long enuf to acutally fit one, a 73 series might be? my bundy had a 3 person forward faceing seat in the rear, was quite good, and foled up behind the driver's seat reasonably well

Just done this in a Middy. The Troopy seats come in 2 sizes... 90cm long and 100cm long.

I squeezed the shorter ones between the roll bar and the front seats.

I wish I could have managed the longer ones but it was not to be.

I don't think the SWB has a roll bar does it?

If you want, I can do detailed photos of the longer ones I have spare and if you want them we can talk business.

Measure up first cos I don't want to do a camera session to find they won't fit.

Let me know!

If u r talking about the front seat then u will b able to fit a 60/40 seat out of a troopy or any 70 series, just have to take out the centre consol.
All bundera's have the same interior dimentions as any other 70,75,78 series, just different interior designs.......
