You just looking for more power or are you looking to do more work to get this thing to actually hook up and pull. IE; a Suspension set up in the rear and more weight over the front?

The Comp is run as a 2wd event so as to get a more diverse range of vehicle’s i.e. Torana’s, HQ's, patrols ect. Pintara's are banned tho.

Im interested in doing whatever will give me the edge. i've put heavy duty leafs in the rear thinking it will stop warping and will keep everything forced to the earth.
i would have thought that more weight in the rear would be better than the front; forcing the tyres into the earth.

Its hitched in the rear so im driving forwards.

Yeah, I’m thinking more torque and higher revs.
Keeping in mind that each supercharger/turbo is counted as an extra 1lr, and im limited to 6lrs.

i am really interested in everything you guys have to say.

So are there any limitations on gearing or the type of tyres you use (I'm thinking something agricultural)?

bead locks for the rear rims and air down real low, there is one cheep way to get heeps more traction

Get some of those big arse weights they put on the front of tractors that don't have buckets on them. They are real heavy and help push the weight further out front.
Having lots of weight out front helps keep the front wheels on the ground.
If you don't drive it on the road then put water or lead in your tyres.

yeah ag tyers are fine to run and a few rigs do.
I'm Running 33x14 Boggers as i figure the wider the tyre the better and 33's arnt that tall.

Yes the rear is locked.

Ill have a look in the rules to see what they say about bead locks. Would a low profile tube work as an internal bead lock?
How would i go about getting water into the tyre?

Would it be a case of the more weight the better or does it need to be some measured amont?

Put a second valve directly opposite the one in the rim now.
Sit tyre so that the 2 valves are horizontal
remove the core of both valves
put the hose over one valve
once the water runs out the other valve it is half full.

Or you can put it so the 2 valves are vertical
put hose over bottom valve
once water runs out the top valve the tyre is filled level with the top of the rim.

I'd try with all 4 half full first off and then play around with more or less front and rear. I think it would have to be a trial and error thing till you got the rite amount. It would be something that you'd have to find a happy medium between extra traction and power loss.

Tubes are tubes, they are not bead locks.
