35x15.5x15" Super Swamper TSL
Has anyone from the Forum ran with this size tire?? I have them in my posession & Am finally getting some 15x10" rims on Thursday to have them on the GQ.. There basically the same rolling diameter as the Simex I currently run, But they are a wide tire & was wondering if anyone has some info on pushing these through the soft stuff - ie. Sand & Mud ect..

yeah mate i had these exact same tires on my V8 hilux, they were awsume for offroad traction, BUT, they suck so much more power and fuel out of ur car that it wasnt funny, i picked up about an extra 100km per tank when i went back to 35/12.5/15s. AND the cops hounded shit out of me all the time plus i found that in mud u really have to get them spinning otherwise they end up acting like suction cups, I'll never go back to them.

Cheers for the Reply's Guy's, Fuel consumption was something I hadn't thought about as well, On Gas though So it's pretty cheap to Run. I am a tad concerned with not having the Power to Spin them, But will be taking them on there first trip this weekend so will soon see 
I got them for a great price - $250 each brand new - I was saving up for 35" ET's. But this offer was to good to refuse... Will post up my feedback on them after the weekend..

Mate, they must have looked seriously huge - the 35x15.5x15's I have are looking rediculously wide just sitting here, until I have them under the Gq I can't picture it... I have replaced my standard flares with some 6" Rubber flares, so they will sit under them...nastytroll wrote:mate had 16/38.5 15's on a coilcab, ran on around 4psi beadlocked. They do suck power bein that wide. biggest issue will be gaurd clearance.
I have 4" springs, 3 " Body & Rear qtr cut, so not to worried about guard clearence..

As I have posted, they were to cheap to knock back the offer of & I rang a few places around Perth & Even having to have bought some 15x10's & The cost of fitting, balancing ect.. Still under half of what the whole thing would have cost if bought from a retailer, So cna allway's try sell them if the project does not work out i spose
