35's with 4 inch lift? yes or no

Post by Josh n Kat »

hey guys i've got 35 inch mtr's at the moment with 2 inch body, 2 inch spring and 1 inch coil spacers. I'm looking at taking out the body lift when i put in my 4 inch coils in witht the coil spacers remaining in place.

just concerned about clearance on the front tyres cause i'm cutting the back off anyway... my mates think i'm crazy but i think i'll be fine. Gonna have drop boxes in the front so i'm assuming it should flex alright but will it rub?

i can fit 35s on mine with 4 inch springs no body. scrubs inner rear gaurd only. alot of people seem to have trouble fitting 33s on so you may need to do other mods.

I've got 37s with a 4 inch spring lift only. 35s are easy.

yeah just dont want the car sitting up that high so the first thing to go will be the body lift.

main concern was the rubbing on the inside of the front guards which will be nicely painted up shortly so spacers on the drop boxes will be the go!

I'v got 35s on a swb with 3in springs and 30mm spacers I'v cut 20mm radius outta the rear guard and now they only scrub at full flex half way up the inner guards, the fronts only hit just b4 full lock on the front, but i guess if u play with different off sets you'll get better steering lock ( i'm just using the wheels that the tyres came on when I bought the car.

I'm having trouble my 33's rubbing, rear only, with a 4 inch lift. Looking for a remedy now, but 35's fitted easy... I can only suggest what I got suggested and do the offset rims, but you still may have trouble wit rubbing.
You can't kill a 60... Believe me... I've tried...
In the end, you can... drive a gu now... still want a 60
