VATC Dyno and Ramp Day on the 10/02/08 at P.G.S Mornington

Post by The pig67 »

Thats right The Vic All Terrain Club are planning to have another ramp day and this time we're going to have the dyno available as well
James and Joel at P.G.S in Mornington have offered to give up a Sunday and help us host a Dyno and Ramp day.
It will cost $40.00 a run on the Dyno first in best dressed and $5.00 for a run up the ramp.
25% of the Dyno's takings will go to the owner of the most powerful petrol motor on the day
25% of the Dynos takings will go to the owner of the most powerful Diesel motor on the day.
The balance will contribute to the costs of running the day.
The Vic All Terrain Club will supply prizes for the best performance on the ramp.
We will have a sausage sizzle as well and hopefully cook up a storm.

So please circle the 10th of Feb in your Diary and come down to P.G.S for a great day out
This is going to be run on a first in best dressed basis so if you want to get your vehicle on the dyno or the ramp get there early or you may miss out

(Had to bring it forward to the 10th as Wadin is on the17th  )

See ya all there

Its getting closer now

We have decided to add another class in for the petrol 4wd compewting on the Dyno

There will be a naturally Aspirated Class and a Blown Class

We also have some great prizes on offer for those competing on the ramp

We will have the BBQ cranked up so Bacon and eggs on sale in the morning, hamburgers and sausages in the afternoon.

James and Joel will be available throughout the day and you can pick their brain re various mods you plan to do

So make sure you keep the 10th Feb free to pop down to PGS in Mornington and watch all the action unfold

Its a 4 wheel dyno, so all are welcome, Rangies, 80's 100's all constant 4wd, part time 4wd and 2wd vehicles front or rear wheel drive catered for. We will be connecting the high speed Air fuel for anyone who wants mixture feedback and if people are after EGTS then please drill a 1/8th hole within 4 inches of the turbo outlet for our pyro, we can datalog to the dyno printout and show comparisions to standard vehicles for any diesel owners not sure about their temps and fuel. Everyone will be provided with a dyno graph print out.

Just been informed tonight
1st prize for the overall winner on the ramp will be a set of 35 inch x 16 mud tyres supplied by State Tyres

So that alone should be worth coming down for a bit of a look ;)

A brand new set of 35" tyres for overall winner on the ramp - thats unreal!!

Certainly worth everyone coming down and putting there car on the ramp - who wouldn't want to win them.

Hopefully we will see alot of people on the day competing for that awesome prize -

PROUDLY DONATED BY STATE TYRES.

Well it's on full swing. The trucks are running hot. So far the figures to beat on the dyno are 150 fot a petrol and 70 for a diesel (approx figures). So head down to PGS if your not already ther and give it a go. Funds raised are for charity and there is a sausage sizzle happening and drinks available.
