31's under 4runner

Post by 88pajero »

After stuffing around for ages trying to find my next 4wd I have finally bit the bullet and got a 90 model 2.8l diesel 4runner (pick it up this weekend)
It has already got a winchbar, snorkel and a couple of little goodies, I was wondering if you guys can give me any advice on how to squeeze some 31's under it. I dont want to go too big, just capable :)
Jabber gone. Now have 98 nissan terrano and a 94 4.2ldiesel rv troopy on 33s slowly getting the fancy bits. How the hell do I change my user name?

Perfect..... For some reason I thaught theyll scrub out on the inner guard a bit, a mates duel cab suffers from that.

mine had been screwed up, so they didn't scrub (apart from the swaybar) was close for memory. mate at work said his duel cab is stock and has 31 on it, he recons it dosen't scrub but his tyres are bald as. just for fun have a look at www.snakeracing.com.au - hmmmmmm one day.

my 4 runner had 31's on it for 2 years never scrubbed , just put some maxxis bighorns on it 32's and she scrubs only on full lock going over a bump , thats why 2 inch body lift is going as we speak with 2 inch lift in the back and torsion by wind up in the front
