GQ Air Cleaners

Post by swbpatrol »

Does anyone know if you can use the air piece from the air cleaner to the air intake from a petrol on a diesel??? I have changed engines and i noticed the petrol one has a like turbine thing on it. Will that effect the Diesel's running?

Sorry, I can't help with your info but I was wondering just how much work was required to change from petrol to diesel. I'm assuming you went from tb42 to td42.
Also. Would you have a rough guesstimate on how much it cost to do?

Not to much involved i got a complete engine with all the stuff for $4000. Then i spent a further $550 on a wiring loom and a bellhousing and some other small bits and pieces.
