Bugger looks like I missed this one.
Partys of Doof Doof have been held at 4x4 parks before.
They tend to be posted on different forums however.
Anything is possible, it just comes down to time and money.

Hey all

This was a trial event so it wasnt promoted heavily so we could keep the numbers down and see how it went on a smaller scale. It went well. Even with some wet weather earlier in the week , the road held up and the gear was ferryed in and out including the generator.

I was cautiously interested in this event as it was the folks of a local mate/wheeler organising the music. I have been approached by others before but have had negative responses from other park owners that held events at their sites organised buy those others. This event was run well and the issues that concerned me didnt arrise.

SO , from now on it has been arranged to keep equipment on site and allow these events to become more frequent. We have done some work , with my one track drive dozer , on the access road to camp 1 and can now get 2wd access , so long as the car isnt lowered. Events in the future will be dry weather only and there is parking 350m walk from the event site for those who dont want to venture in. The fee for the nite includes camping , however it doesnt include 4wding , park fees apply less your entry fee , so you dont pay twice. Enter the park and get the music for free or pay the event fee and upgrade if you want to wheel the next day.

The next event is scheduled for may , however I will be working on the crew for it to be brought forward to April. We will have to see.

Thanks to Dale , Sarah , Rose , Mick and the crew and my staff , especially Mitch for all the work.

One last thing , these events held at City-View have a delivery service to town every 2 hours (6pm 8pm 10pm and 12pm) for things such as food , drinks , smokes , Pizza , almost anything thats available. 7-11 is open to , well , 11pm and pizza is avaliable to 1am , alcahol is available to 10pm and water & softdrinks for sale at the site.

Keep an eye on your music events forums for the next one of these events , it will be promoted next time.

Sounds like another good string to the bow pete...

2WD access will help with the swap meets and event spectators to, great to see the place still going strong.
