hi,
i have a 97 lwb 2.8 turbo diesel. just about to order some tyres..have chosen the maxxis 753. but cannot decide on 31's or 32's.. 32's are only $76 more all up but i am wondering how this will knock around performance.. low range gearing and fuel consumption?? any advice from previouse experience would be appreciated.
thanks ben

What are you running now? 235/75-15 IIRC? They're about 29", so whether you go to 31" or 32" you'll notice a difference in acceleration, fuel economy and your ability to hold speed up hills. If it helps, GLS versions came with 265/70-16, which are effectively a 31x10.5R16.
In terms of how they'll fit you'll need to tell us what width you're looking at. 32x10.5 I would expect to fit relatively easily - wider could be an issue, depending on how wide, and the offset of the rims.

i didnt notice any difference on my 2.5 when i went to 33s
but thats with 5.29s and 32s standard.
if you have 31s already and go the 32s i doubt you will even notice it.
