Am considering purchasing a 1993 MJ Triton (Club Cab) V6 3L and looking to find out if anyone could offer suggestions on things to look for when i go see the car (im on the gold coast - ute is in toowoomba - heading tomorrow night to check it out).

Rust (including under floor felt) clunks funny noises and all the usual stuff

Service history, including evidence of belt change. They need a replacement belt every 100k km, which can get expensive. Most people do the water pump at the same time.

I'd suggest attention to the gearbox, too. I believe they're always a little notchy, but any significant difficulty changing gears I would consider a problem. I think 2-3 change is the usual suspect, but I could be wrong.
