split rim tyres

am doing a top end trip in a couple of months, and i am after some recommendations for a light truck tyre to fit onto the rim. i have never ran them before so have no experience.
really looking for some thing that has some aggresion. not after a road tyre as i will be off the tarmac alot of the time.

truck is a GU tray.

Look into MRF Super Traction tyres, do a search for them and get in touch with Ryano for pricing.

the old SUPER GRIPPER.

Available everywhere, and usually cheap coz most dealers have almost new ones that people have traded off their new 4bies

I've heard the japanese made ones (buy em from a toyota dealer - they have em lying around after fitting wide/alloy wheel packs to new cruisers) are better (same tread/construction but better rubber) than the aussie made ones. Unsure how much truth there is to that though...
