Time for a rebuild.....

Post by GURU »

G'day all,

As my series II Comp rig is sitting in the corner of the carport missing a motor and with 2 broken CV's I have decided to do a rebuild.

Starting with a strip down of all panels to a rolling chassis and exo cage. I want to narrow and lower the cage and then make the panels fit around that.

I am still trying to decided what motor to run, but it will be an auto. So I will have the BW T18 (4speed manual from F-truck with 6.3:1 1st) and LT95 combo up for sale comes with adaptors for either RR V8 or 300tdi. I'm chasing $900 ono for it. gearbox and TC with 4.1 diffs made 1st around 88:1

I really want to run a RR V8 fuel inject with a T700 (lower 1st gear) and LT230. But I may have to start with a commo V6 and T700 as cash is an issue...
