No Power at all

Post by macklux83 »

Hi all,
I have just replaced my 2L with another 2L and upon trying to start it this morning to bleed the injectors i have no power at all, nothing inside the car and no headlights.
Last night everything was working and i was able to glow my glow plugs and listen to the radio etc.
The only power i have is to the UHF which is wired directly to the battery and a very slight glow on the clock.
I have tried a brand new battery as well as my old one both of which are fully charged.
All fuses are fine except for the 80A glow plug fuse in the engine bay which im going to replace. would this cause all these problems or could there be more to it?
cheers
rob

Just to add, when i turn the headlights to on all i can hear is a constant clicking/buzzing coming from the drivers side fuse box.

There are a couple of wires that attach to the positive, which if not connected can give the symptom you described.

Is the batt completly drained?? check it with a multimeter.

but as above check your earths.
