another annoying problem

Post by macklux83 »

hey everybody, ive just swapped my blown 2L with another 2L, ive been trying to get it to run but its blowing huge amounts of white smoke and as soon as you give it a rev it dies.
Ive tried bleeding the injectors and they are all pissing out diesel however the glass bowl on my CAV filter only seems to be filling up about 3/4 of the way to the top.
Does anybody have any ideas on what the problem could be??
cheers

the cav setup is on the passenger side, with the filter itself on the left hand side and on the right next to it is the other bowl and primer pump.

sorry...what is meant by the lift pump?
if it is the fuel pump then the filter is to the right of the pump when looking from the front of the car.
