Short tcase arm & rocktoy ring

Post by sanger »

Im installing a rock toy ring after i bent the short side arm. I have reinforced the long side arm and will be reinforcing the short arm with 1/2 inch solid bar around the perimeter. Just want to get a visual and how people have welded their rocktoy rings as mine is bolted to the outside of the caseing (no splitting the case} so thier is a fair gap between ring and arm.

Post up some pics if you got them. Would help me out bigtime.

Cheers sanger

I dont have any pics but we just bridged the gap with some flat and welded it up.

Thanks for the help guys but got it sorted today tomorrow onto making a bucket to protect the t-case and weld it to the arms. Sort of like a homemade mighty kong.

Got it done. !/2 inch solid bar around perimeter of short arm and box tube centre gusset. The long arm was reinforced with 40x40 rhs. Rocktoy ring is a great bit of gear thanks chris  .

Also my skid plate now pics up a rear hole underneath the rear output so it should be solid enough to keep me out of trouble for a while.
