Custom bar work and engineering.
I have put up with an ugly arse on my 80 series for way too long.
Does anyone know someone in brisbane, sunshine or goldcoast who can do some custom bar work on the rear. Also an engineer that can approve the chassis mod.
The wagon has a two inch bodylift so i was looking at getting the rear chassis cut and raised to suit the two inch bodylift.
(basically instead of the chassis rails bending down past the wheel cut it and re-run it straight through. Like whats shown in the pic. Then cut the quarters and rap some bar work around it.
Want this to be engineered.
How do add pic. Used to be able to do this

ANY welding onto the chassis rail CANNOT be engineered and passed legal in QLD; that is what i was told when i asked the blue plater that plated my seats.

Brooksy is at Spring Mountain 0400 443 802. Not sure what his schedule is like with Bartsos at the moment but give him a call.bruiser wrote:Just spoke with mick and he said that they don't realy do bar work anymore as they are too busy.
Also Dale at 2dextreme can't fit me in for a couple of months.
Where is brooksy located and what are his contact numbers.
