Alternative front seats

Post by davejb »

I was wondering what alternative front seats people have fitted.
The drivers seat in my 88 swb mav is buggered. I was looking to fit something other than original with a bit moe support and comfort.

spot on Bogged.

I picked up some GTiR seats then fab'd 2 brackets to level and raise the rails. Outer brackets are same as factory, 100x30 channel, and inner brackets are 60x60x30 z-fold which moves the seat 30mm inwards as the GTiR seats rails are 16" and the originals are only 15". Inserted the brackets between the factory feet and factory rails. Looks like it came from Nissan.. the fabric is even similar to the trimming.
