Fuel Economy 3.0l V6 Pajero
For those running 32-33" tires on your 3L V6 Pajero's, how has it affected your fuel consumption/economy?

my shorty use to run from 10L - 12L / 100km.
i did a record on here for a little hwile, averaged out fuel consumption for about a month, average to be about 11.5L/100kms. Mostly just general use, little bit of city, litle bit of freeway, little bit of 4x4, bit of everything.
the new paj uses a little bit more with the 35s and 5.29s and LWB but its still not as thirsty as i had expected. runs about 12.5L/100kms. little bit less sometimes. im not too disappointed.

The very best I've ever achieved was high 10s, cool weather on flat ground with a tail wind. Hot weather, high speed (120 in a 110 zone) into a head wind has hit high 15s. For offroad work I budget 20 l/100km, but even crossing the Simpson I averaged 16 - but the "slowest" bit, on the WAA line, the fuel gauge was dropping alarmingly fast!
on my stock tyres had as bad as 20ltr per hun and as good as 12.6.
All depends on how much i use the right pedal.
I only put my 32s on recently but seems like round town no difference. Though i did the power line track in mundaring last weekend and used heaps less off road mainly because i dont have to punish it so hard where i used to drag my diff and got more grip with muddies
