Patrol and Battery Charger

Post by barbz »

Hi all,

I run a 200ah wet truck battery for my electric fence around my property.

I need to find a charger that can trickle charge this without me having to disconnect it.

That said I also dont want to get too big of a unit that I cant charge the battery in my GU if I needed to.

I am currently looking at the Ctek XS 25000 that will run from 50ah - 500ah.

Ctek also have a xs14000 unit but it is rated to 14amps and ive been told to get no less than 20amp unit.

What Amp Hour is the standard 3.0 GU battery?

Can anyone reccomend me a unit that will could charge my patrol and the truck battery?

Cheers

Paul
