Your "snow camo/urban camo" is one of the few that actually do look ok. But there is still a certain "look at me, look at me" affect that goes with camo paint and not everyone likes that. Subtle is good because the good things on the rig don't just jump out at you and the more you look the more you see as it's not so in your face.

Camo can look great it just needs to be done well and be on a rig that justify's it.

I hate going to weddings because all the grandma's used to poke me in the ribs saying you're next, you're next. They've stopped doing it since I started doing it to them at funerals.

my zuk went through a few colour changes over the years.
Originally it was factory yellow = yuck
then I painted it Colorbond Rivergum satin wth a matt black bonnet and gloss black flames = cool
then WhiteKnight Bright Orange 21 = yuck
finally Hammertone Charcoal = cool

all colour changes were from spray cans with bugger all prep work. The satin one worked very well as it was a good covering paint and hid blemishes well as did the hammertone. The gloss orange needed better prep and more coats

Another brushed on blue hammertone. Roughed up the old paint with (80 grit?) sand paper I think, and rolled on the paint where possible and then brushed on the rest (most of the car  ) Easy to touch up after making "contact" with things too
