I searched but it didnt jump out and im in a hurry....
Guys, whats the length of a GQ shorty rear tailshaft?

if someone could give me measurement compressed and extended that would be verrrrry handy.

Hey Mate, GQ Shorty tailshaft Compressed=500mm flange face to flange face, Extended=600mm flange face to flange face approx.

Steve thanks mate. wasnt the measurement i was hoping for.
but thanks for hte speedy response.
was hoping to find a stock shaft around 730mm in middle of the slip joint.
to save me getting tail shaft chopped. i have a GQ LWB shaft at home.
but they are more like 1200mm from memory.

The whole thing is cast steel (no tube), you can cut the slip joint and drop it into some 50nb XXS pipe to make it however long you like, it fits perfect.
