any 1 interested in a disco?
just wondering if any 1 was looking for a very clean 1992 disco?? buying a new car so need it gone..
Don't take this personally but that's very exxy for a 92 Disco. $3-3.5K max for a early Disco like that sounds more realistic in good condition. Average condition, well look at $2-3K maybe. Tdi's probably command a bit more.
Also is it a V8 or TDI, auto or manual, kms, etc...
$5K is the sort of price I would expect up here in QLD, car yards are rip-off merchants and they're usually POS as well with rust starting to bubble through in spots ASn example of rip offs up here is a 3 door 93 Disco man, 270K on the clock, bald tyres, faded paintwork for $2600. Talk about getting ripped.

Land Rover- The Collingwood of 4WD's!!!!
You may be right, but sadly they're way overpriced and 94 onwards examples can be worth that that have better dash layout, 3.9, air con that works properly and in good condition... you sort of get the idea.feather wrote:cheers for the reply ive seen 1992 gor for 6-6500 in the same if not poorer cond its a very clean disco.. umm its a v8 auto with 250***.. thanks
At the end of that day, it's what a potential buyer will pay for it regardless of what i or anyone else thinks. Good luck with the sale.

Trav's right on here in that they are worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Mate of mine got a 99 V8 Auto model on gas for $4000 a month back. The bloody thing is spotless, been a road car all it's life and done 150,000 kms. And I knocked back a 98 model a couple of weeks ago for $3000 but it had closer to 180,000kms on it and was that disgusting gold colourAquarangie wrote:You may be right, but sadly they're way overpriced and 94 onwards examples can be worth that that have better dash layout, 3.9, air con that works properly and in good condition... you sort of get the idea.feather wrote:cheers for the reply ive seen 1992 gor for 6-6500 in the same if not poorer cond its a very clean disco.. umm its a v8 auto with 250***.. thanks

They don't seem to be worth much in Qld that's for sure.
