trying to sort out under the dash of my disco dashed rangey (complete rewire from nothing)

would really love to know how to set up the multimeter and the best way to go about working out which pin in the back of the steering column switch's does what?

have a very very very basic understanding of resistance and current flow etc, just none on diagnostics like this and after an hour playing with different settings can't get it quite right :oops:
