Change the timing belt & seals on the Vit the other day and had all sorts of problems cracking the crank bolt to change the seal.
After the 12" bar + extention tube and the rattle gun failed it was a Ph call to my mate Dave, X Toyota Tech Man .......Oh simple, Westie get a socket and bar on it and anchor it to something soild, Disable motor ( remove HT lead or similar)and HIT THE STARTER.
YEP the power of the starter had that sucker loose in the blink of an eye.
