like if you had ordered more than $1000 worth?? did bobby long send parts separately to avoid this customs hold up????

I got mine through locktup - they're stuck in customs :bad-words: Not sure if it's aussie or US customs. Will let you know how that pans out.

It usually isn't a drama, but in saying that customs are a law unto their own, usually stuff goes into customs in the morning and is out by the afternoon, but other times they'll hold it for days without any reason.

Stu's longs are the first we've had them put a hold on stuff from Bobby, they probably think it is some kind of weapon of mass destruction!

BTW Stu, it is Australian Customs not US, the stuff got into Australia on the 18th of feb, I emailed your bro the tracking details.

Thanks chris. You're obviously better at passing on information than my bro :P Hope to see them soon!

Surely customs can see that they're a weapon of mass indestruction?

I reckon Jason and his Mrs must have been getting happening with the toys and dropped the mini commando in there and customs are still working out whether it fits in the short side or the long side :)

I ordered and paid by credit card direct with Longfields.

Mine were shipped and at my house in about 1 week.

No dramas with customs. I might have been lucky...

hub gears and 30 splines are less than a grand AUD in one shipment.

...

we had two sets of the same longs in transit at the same time, one spent 6 mins in customs, another spent 1 week. Go figure. Maybe they think Victorians are dodgy or something :D

what is suposed to happen if you order parts over $1000

I am wanting to order CV's, axles, hub gears and bearings.
Thats over $1000. what should I be doing.

Also, do they fit straight into a 95 model HZJ80.
I read in a previous post that they only fit 96 models on.

What is the prefix for for ther number?
