TB42 TEMP SENDER THREAD SIZE?

Post by MEX »

Hello all,

I have bought an aftermarket water temp guage from speco and their sender unit has a different thread so I need an adaptor to screw into the head to accept the new sender.

Problem is I cannot find out what the nissan thread is (its not listed in the manual and the nissan service people I have spoken to are the definition of useless).

Does anyone here know the thread size?

cheers MEX

Thanks for the help everybody. I've now ordered the inline adaptor that fits in the top radiator hose. Speco part number 547-13.

The thread size for the temp sender is 12x1.25 and the (a/c cut out switch or is it the cold start glow control switch sender) beside the temp sender is 12x1.5, hope this helps, cheers Phill
