Ok basically my Passenger side thermo fan is either completely stopped at idle or goin an EXTREME amount slower than the drivers side one when its moving. :?

I dont know much about thermos just that they always ment to be movin :? . Any thing I should try to do b4 I add it to the tohard basket and on the list of things for Ricks 4X4 centre to fix ?

Check it's earthing. Bad earths cause things to slow are stop working. :)

Youll probably find the fan isnt going at all but is just moving cause of the air force from the other fans such as the other thermo and the engine fan... if you stick something in there will the fans spining youll probably find the motor will just stop moving... they have pretty good bearings and it doesnt take much for them to work... a bad earth would more than likely just cause the motor to stop or occasionally work... Its common for a thermo just to pack up..

Thats what i thought it may be, I still clean the earth points all over (when i find em all under the fossilised mud packs).
If it is busted what sorta replacement cost am i looking at ? ? ?

Being a Range Rover like everything youll have to sell a vital organ to afford a Genuine Part.. Id go for an aftermarket fan from a Company called Davies Craig... most automotive parts places stock there stuff but i couldnt tell ya how much it would be sorry apart from being cheaper than Genuine...

I still have both my kidneys............ Do you reackon one would be enough :? I have to look into it further.... hopefully after the cleanout of all my earth points it gets movin abit, other wise :cry: more money :P :roll:

are you talking about the thermos on the front on the radiator....
if so I believe they only come on with your air con. they turn when stationary due to the fan pulling air through... not uncommon for them not to turn
