What Dank is saying is spot on.
If you have a shop that gets your business regularly they should look after you with prices.
If there not then I would be shopping else where.
Supply only in business is easy and when your not fitting it etc you should be able to give the customer a better deal.
If they can't then maybe they don't consider you a Regular customer ?

To give you an idea ARB lockers from us are around $1050 inc GST and shipping.
I've heard of heaps of guys over here getting them for around the $1100 mark from ARB dealers, and really for the sake of $50 you are better getting them from your local ARB dealer.
We've brought them in for people as part of larger orders, and the consolidation of freight makes it worthwhile.
Some US shops can get them in here cheaper as they don't have to charge GST on low value shipments (< $1000), but US companies aren't bound by the trade practices act which covers the consumer if things go to crap.
We're into importing US products, not re-importing stuff made in Australia, which is why we don't have them on our site.

This may or may not be a hijack... Sorry if it is.
Got quoted $1800 to supply and install ARB locker, air locker compressor and double toughs (I will supply the double toughs) into a Sierra.
Is this a reasonable price?
If not feel free to pm me the price of an airlocker, compressor and contact details and I will install it myself.
Cheers Paul.

Keep in mind you also going to get Customs charges on top of the full price on these. That is if customs pulls them up. Which at over $1000 US they are very likely too.zackde wrote:For interests sake lowrange4x4 have quoted $250.00 to frieght both Lockers to door (U.S. Dollars)
Also with any warrenty issues you are going to be shipping these back to the supplier in the US at your cost to have them sorted. I doubt ARB Australia are going to deal with you directly if you bought them from the US.
