reverse lights not working

Post by lanzook »

Tried searching but couldn't find any info on this one.

Replaced globes and still no luck. I'm suspecting a faulty reverse sensor on the gearbox. Anyone have any ideas?

How would I know which sensor is the reverse one on the box? Its a vitara btw.

cheers,
Lance

I had the same problem with my sierra and it was the reverse sensor. It cost me about $35 for a new one from Suzuki and took only about 10mins to swap the things over. Good Luck!

the plug on the fire wall has a plug with red and yellow wires on it jump the 2 together to check the switch. i think the switch is the middle switch on the side of the box but dont quote me exactly on that.
