Instead of me startin a heap of topics and everyone gettin pissed off I'll just put all my questions in here.
I'm new to Zuk's so please bare with me and I really do appreciate your help.
First of all, looks like my gearbox is droppin abit of fluid. Where abouts do I check the level??
Is there a Suzuki spares joint around Brisbane/ipswich?? I need a new seat belt clip as it doesnt seem to hold on anymore. And some floor bungs.

there is a plug (usually allen key head) on the side of the gearbox, well actually theres 2, bottom one to drain, top one to refill/check level.
Suzisport. theres one at lawnton, one at albion, that i know of maybe one on the southside but not sure.
good luck getting floor bungs, the only ones i could find were from clark rubber but are very light duty compared to standard ones.

First question... There is a plug on the back of the gearbox to fill oil with. Stick ur finger in there with the car off.if u feel oil straight away should be fine. Where is the oil coming from, which end? Jackshaft(Babytailshaft) or motor end?
Next question, Look around in the yellow pages, im not from qld but some other guys may help with ur parts (they may have spares for cheaper) And post in the "Wanted section"

One is the transfer case with a little oil leakin off the bottom of it, and the other is the arse end of the gearbox which has put oil everywhere.

I did the rear gearbox seal on mine just before christmas (oil splashed everywhere around underneath the tunnel). All I did was drop the jackshaft out, then spent half an hour removing the old seal (a proper seal remover tool would be good here). Then put the new seal and put it together. Fixed my oil leak, cannot gauruntee anything for your situation though. Just make sure the jackshaft goes back on the same position/orientation it came off.
Check level as per previously said, take out the top filler plug (3/8" square socket drive on mine), and the level should be level with the bottom of the plug hole.
Suzuki spares joint: I usually go to Suzuisport at springwood, bit of a drive from Ipswich, but they usually have the stuff I need. Other options include posting in the wanted section on forums like this (as BlueSuzy said before), and ringing around wreckers though they rarey have much Sierra gear.
My father bought some replacment floor bungs from Jacksons foam and Vinal at Raceview (generic bungs they sell), they were not ideal, but worked alright for a while untill he just decided running without bungs was a better option anyway (I disagree with him but anyway).

Put a new speedo cable in this arvo, got in around the transfer case and jack shaft with a rag to clean it up.
Oil still seems to be pissing out of where the gear stick enters the gearbox. Within 5 minutes of being parked in the driveway I had about 12 drops of oil off the chassis cross member.
Also are Sierra's really fast in reverse?? I noticed just daily driving I've had to ride the clutch a little while reversing otherwise it is too fast.
Went out in the bush this arvo just in 2wd, had to back up a little hill and it pretty much bunny hopped all the way up???? Like was really easy to stall, does anyone know why, is this common??
The rear diff is welded and I have 31's on it. All forward gears are good, but reverse is a bitch.

The really fast reverse would be because u have 31"s with standard gearing? The sierra gears seem to be too high for even general use, and the low range is just the same... All those equations locker, 31"s , standard gearing mite be why your hopping up hills, cant cope... You may have a heavyduty clutch also, they r 2 grippy sometimes...

Cost me about $4 I think, I bought it from ICB (Ipswich city bearings) out near Ipswich general cemetery ("Briggs road" I think). They are in a shed with some other places including one that seems to restore WWII Willys MB Jeeps. These guys are the only place I go to for any bearings seals, belts, chains, rebuild kits etc, for my Suzuki, Dads Lux, the Cherokee, Mower, bike, anything, they will bend over backward to help. Yeas as BlueSuzy said, 31's with standard gearing is your problem as far as your reversing speed is concerned, I ran mine for 2 weeks (too long) in this config, hated it really bad. 4.9 Gears now make me happy

AN interesting comparison is my father claims his stocker (WT) climbs better in reverse than in first, I cannot figure out why, must be something to do with weight distribution...

That came through lowrange offroad in the United States, because we got some stuff for dads Hilux at the same time, and they deal in both Suzuki and Toyota.
I think the exchange rate was at 90c at the time, so you can do even better now!

Just pulled the gear shifter out to have a look.
There is a little red thing in there, then a washer ontop of that, now is there meant to be a seal between the washer and the plate that ya put the 3 bolts in?? Doesnt look right without a seal and am thinking this could be a reason why she is dropping abit of oil.
Can anyone shed some light on this??
