Post by Hobzee »

Nice one Lockee. Thanks for the support and the teams will appreciate it too.

Start and Finish will be Erica Noojee areas for convenience but the course will be a true 24 hour hard track endurance doing the likes of Lady Manners, Deep Creeks to Woods Pt area and maybe Ellis in Warby etc. Navigation will not be deliberately hard, criptic or confusing. You will need a winch (compulsory) and we will consider the roll bar and CCDA situation and report back.

Gees only today I had my GQ painted the one colour and it looks like a brand newsky - By the time it has set up Cliffhanger and Pursuit she will be back to where she was...

Better book me in again Kev... It's Lockee's fault - he made me do it.

Hobzee how about all the deep creeks in one timed stage whilst looking for a Birdy? Then tow a dead car back to camp.

Looking forward to it with some different ideas for an entertaining stage.

roll bars

Post by Hobzee »

I have always believed Wrangler factory bar to be a good enough B pillar roll bar for these medium risk events.

Rudes and I need to discuss implications of CCDA (re our existing insurance if we do or dont have timed stages) and need to talk with CCDA as well on this. If we go with timed stages then we need CCDA and we then need to comply with their B Pillar specs (Refer Vic Winch requirements) and CCDA may have a different opinion on Wrangler bar.

Stay tuned.

Thanks mate,
the footage was pretty crappy, could hardly tell it was me, plus you could have left the noise of the engines instead of music.
Nothing sweeter than hearing my old turbo petrol and its blow off valve.
Ohh well lets see what we can do with the jeep this year.
