AIR TANKS (10L OR MORE)

Post by fatassgq »

Anyone know of anywhere in brissy nrth to get an air tank for my truck? I am after a longer skinny type not the big round ones. I used to use an old 9kg gas bottle but want something a little more stylish to mount under my new tray.
I see a lot on trucks but am not sure of anywhre to buy them. I think I have seen one on rolly's truck that looks cool too

ta
P.S the gas bottle worked a treat but it has no drain rooster and looks a bit average compared to.

what about an oxy, acetaline or nitrogen cylinder. you could empty one drill a hole and mount a tapped bung plug. i have seen one mounted under a tray on a hilux before. any capable welder can do tjhe job and there is no worries about the vessel? holding pressure.

Why does everyone think about using anything but truck air tanks.. fuck they are only $20 from a truck wrecker...

Use pepsi bottles, shit like that.. with all the pressure in there, if it DOES go boom when you slide off that rock, and puncture it, you will go Oops too..

YMMV
