Instrument lights

Post by booga82 »

Howdy,

Got a problem with the instrument cluster lights in a GQ. Just the ones that light up the speedo and tacho. I pulled the dash out and the bulbs are fine. Got a feeling it has something to do with the headlight stem.

Any ideas? Help will be mucly appreciated.

Cheers.

Had that problem in my GQ ute.

It was the dash light dimmer switch, needed a bit of solder to fix it.

Hope it helps.

Make sure its turned up ;)

Are you sure the parking lights are working as well? They are on the same circuit & you may have a blown fuse.

How did you check the bulbs? Just looking at them can not work. I have seen bulbs & fuses tha look OK but have an open circuit.

Always check for power with a test light & check the bulbs by either replacing them (they are cheap) or hooking them up to a battery.
Don't ask me, ask them. I'm just runnin for my life myself.
Well they are all following you...
No they ain't, I'm just in front...............
