on take of the drive line feels like it hopes a few times, once clutch pedal is fully of its right, only does it in 1st gear take of and reverse, if i take off in 2nd it will do it too.
there has been a squeek sound every now and then.
1. clutch NOT slipping
2. uni's good, no slop
3. not diff related( removed the rear tail shaft )
4. oils have been changed 2 days ago
5. changes gear no problem.
yes its a 62series so no need for the smart coments there..lol
there is some slop around the rear diff pinion, but i took the tail shaft off and ran it on the front diff , same problem
any ideas?

clutch shudder? i.e. not slip but just shuddering on take up, from contamination (mud/water) on the clutch plate or worn out springs in the clutch plate (the little compression ones designed to absorb the impact of the clutch taking up.
otherwise slop in the transfer, does it do it in low range?

Mate i would put money on it being the clutch if it sort of pulses on take off. Let me guess it squeeks when you try taking off quickly or up a hill or anytime the clutch is really loaded up on take off??? Does it jump/pulse more on take off when it is cold? how old is the clutch and how many k's has it done? 62 series im guessing its a petrol?
