hilux diff sierra, which leaf spring pack, suzuki or hilux

Post by BAD70Y »

This is my Zook at the moment using a rocky road 6" spoa lift ( not real happy with ) and a high steer that Matt Pasani made to suit (works great )

Vitara 1.6L
6.4 Trail Tough gears

I have a set of Hilux diffs that I will be putting under and I was interested in
how people fitted hilux springs
How people fitted sierra springs
to hilux diffs

A picture and a few words would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Aaron

They are massive blocks between the springs and diff!
Ive used zuk springs for now 1 less thing to change but you might have to out board your front springs so perfect time for ruf. Others with swb have done hilux fronts in the rear and I think feroza rears are equvilent to a yj swap. I,ll eventually go 48" long lux rears as I have room with the lwb and it will keep the diff in the same position others move it.
Sorry no pics.

The rear diff housing is bent on the zook so it has to come out!
Also
With the weight of the bull bar and I want to put a winch on as well
I thought of changing the spring pack

I have front and rear spring pack that came with the diffs
and the rear diff is a LSD

I was hoping that I could buy brackets to save time than fabricating new brackets to put the diff under

Up grades to go on
I have a vitara power steer complete & access to 80 series steering box

ALien, your zook is one of my favourite sierras on outerlimits

I have bought from Low Range before and was very happy with the service

I am looking at getting (Lowrange)
for the rear
3 hole spring perches
rear u bolt flip kit

which I can adopt to whatever spring pack I use

Alien, is it possible to see some close up picks of your leaf spring connecting to the chassis
