Replacing Vitara rear A-frame bushes...

Post by DSzuke »

The bushes on the rear A-frame have worn and need replacing ('93 LWB)

The local Suzuki dealer wants to replace the whole arm for something like $400 + and say there is no replacement bush.

Has anyone had to find replacnments?

I am thinking I'll have to measure up and start searching...

(speaking of searching.... yes I did :D )

Don’t know if you are still looking but I got a price of $74.30+GST from my local zook dealer for each of the bushes (u need 2). They call it the rear control arm!! Sorry I don't have a part number ATM but will get one when I go over tomorrow

Pedders also list this part which may or may not be what u are after.

"Rear Lower Arm Bushes
EP7102 Urethane Control Arm Bush"

Hope this helps
:)

Edit: Or these "SPF0921K Rear Control Arm Upper - Inner Bushing"
from

http://www.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/fulcrumCat/

Priced at supercheap at $45 and that has the bushes and tubes for both sides
