Maxxis Creepy Crawler's

Post by suprasurf »

Just spotted some at a local tyre retailer and they look quite good.

I searched and found some info on this tyre but there is more questions than answers. Has anyone actually run these things and are they any good ??

Might sell the 37 MTRs and slap some on :)

Rolly on this board runs the Maxxis Mudzilla on his comp rig, I'm not sure on the similarities in carcass construction to the crawler, but the Mudzilla seems to be quite a competitive tyre.

yes i have been running the mudzillas in a few comps now and found them very good . i have just put on a set of crawlers and are testing them to see how they perform . i had a bit of a play last week end and they were very impressive . they are the same tuff tyre as the mudzilla but have a very deep tread and more flexable blocks .
alot of people think they are to stiff in the side wall and will not work but they are very flexable in the tread area and seem to work great .
give them a try i dont think youll be disapointed at all.
austyre at ashmore have 35/12.5/15 mudzillas and crawlers for sale at $370.00 at the moment give them a call on 07 55970099 .
