75 series ute...is this a fair price?

Post by jigga »

Im looking at a 93 model 75 ute with 330 thousand km's. The interior is a bit rough, but should clean up ok.
The bit that has me a bit interested is that it has an extended wheel base and tray with upgraded supsension and diff ect.

The view would be to put a turbo, supsension, tyres, rims and then change the tray. WOuld also like to put one of the small gull wing style lock boxes behind the cabin (similar to the tjm utes in brisbane).

They are asking $13k.

I think it may be a tad expensive, when you consider that all the gear that i would like to put on it would 10k-ish plus tray and lock box.

They dont have any service history for it and it used to carry a compost bin in the back.

What do you guyes think?

p.s i will also need a front bar..
