fitted a 3" lift to my gq and after have found the front sits about an inch lower than the back is there anything i can do to try even it out like a coil spacer ?

This happens a lot. Especially if you haven't specified to the retailer the accessories that you have fitted. If you just ask for a 3" lift they will give you a standard rate spring which will sit lower than advertised if you have a bull bar, whinch etc fitted. You can get coil spacers if you want but you'll find that when you load the truck up to go camping or travelling that it will settle down. Which is what it is designed to do.
