To be honest I totally support 'Alcohol Free', as spectators have become rowdy with a few beers in their belly and abusive toward marshals and competitors.

Spectators have also pushed the boundaries in the past and seeing as we are are volunteers we don't wish to deal with those people.

I'm sure you can enjoy great viewing of the event without it.

Sounds like there will be plenty of entertainment and action on the day, 'Coraborra' would have to be one of the best winch challenge properties I've been to!!

See you there!

last year shzitload of people were drinking? Is it just not for sale or is it no alcohol what so ever???
I dont mind a quiet drink myself but if I'm bringing the kids along I can do without a bunch of pissed blokes next to me and I am sure event management can do without pissed people falling over themselves and possibly in the way of moving vehicles.

Ali, I've dealt with pissheads for over 10 years as a job. Send them my way. Yes, I am marshalling.

No on-site camping for spectators and I suggest getting a map and camping near Noogee.

Here is a map. Please enter via the Noogee end of Old Fumina Rd, travel slow alond all gravel roads to keep the dust down and DO NOT go to the house. Also note access to the property will not be available till 12 o'clock on Friday for competitors & marshalls and 7am on Sunday for spectators.
