It would have had no trouble at 110, especially seeing as i had no extra weight in there at all... not even a spare tyre in the back (hence you can see the back slides out a little).
Sounds pretty darn schweet and quite stable. Congrats nice work

Well done.

It didn't look anywhere near as scary as it sounded on paper.

a LOT is lost in the translation to video... trust me - when you're walking down there those cones are DAM close together - and when its YOUR zuk flying through, its scary =)

Even knowing my zuk is capable of that kinda swerve, i gotta say if something jumped out infront of me im not gonna be trying to avoid it like that... i think i'd be more inclined to plow on through. lol

But as far as i know my zuk is the first one in WA to pass this test... my engineer has never put one through or heard of anyone putting one through.

Good to see it pass ! ,

Most engineeres ive talked to about this test are more interested in the cars reaction time to steering input .
i was told of one lifted lux that had a two second reaction to a swerve at 90k , you could pull a good three quarters of a turn on the wheel and the pig would keep a straight line for an eternity ! you could actually counter steer it before the first reaction

In all meaning if a child ran out , well .

eheh reaction time on the steering is counteracted by the driver only having driven that manouvre once previously... and at a lower speed... if it reacted slower it would plow through the cones =)

My steering does have a little play - as most zuks do - but in that play the tyres are moving 10 or so millimetres, so its not technically "play" as such... but given a firm jerk on the wheel it will dart across the road VERY suddenly =) ive tried. hehe
