What is it worth???

Post by LAIN_63 »

Hey guys,
I realise this isn't a tech question but thought that the mitsi fans might have a better idea
I have a 93 gls wagon sitting under my house that I want to get rid of
I had a boil over one day and thought that is was a head gasket because i was getting pressure into the radiator and a lot of steam out of the exaust pipe, so I plucked the heads but could not find any signs of damage or tracking and that is how it has sat for 12 months.
It is marroon over silver with a couple of smallish dings and the clear coat is lifting
3 litre manual
Tjm steel winch bar
Towbar
Long range tank(LRA 140ish litre)
Small lift with new shocks
Airbags in rear springs
Extractors and exaust
2 new 31s others fairly worn on stock alloys
Plus usual gls gear

Just wondering what you guys think it would be worth
I need to make some room for the gq
Cheers

Any vehicle which isn't "drive away" will suffer in the price stakes, and any paint defects (i.e. affecting "prettiness") won't help either. But for a vehicle of this age km are still going to make a difference to value - how many on the clock?

paj

gday mate,

iv bought and sold a few in the last 3 months so heres my opinion:

sold my shorty, had all the goodies minus a front locker. Sold for $5500,the guy got a lot of car for $5500.

bought franks old paj - $7000, you physically couldnt modify this thing anymore pretty much

and then the second car bought to replace the body with. A 92 GLS White good Paint no body damage, 3.0L V6, 280kms, pretty standard, 1 month out of rego, $2000.

I would have to say around the $2500, maaaaaaaaybe, $3000.

just as an idea, and thats just my thoughts.

dean ;)
