6th Place - Luke and Dan Hall

After placing extremely well in the Vic Winch, Congrats to 5th place Scott McGill and Yoda & 6th place Luke & Dan. Their first major winch comp against some very experienced teams and both teams taking a stage win each over the weekend.

Keep an eye on these boys in the future.

One of the most spectacular winch comps we've seen in Vic for a while. Some very tough winching stages. Well done to all the officials/organisers and competitors!

Just wanted to thank everyone for a great event, the marshalls and everyone that put so much work in to set up an awesome course.

It was a lot of fun, really proud of my Navi: Tom, great effort for your first event mate, dont forget next Sunday is clean the car day :)

Thanks to the other drivers. I know that a number of new drivers like myself appreciate the help and advice freely given during the comp.

I was there to have a close look at the comp setup as i am building a comp car to compete in the production class....must say that it looked like a very tuff comp!!!

Any footage/pics of Al MAcs Jeep. Him and Rodney had a good run placing second coming into day 3. Anyone know what they placed finally. Apparently Al had it on its side in a deep bog'ole on Saturday.
Great event.

I was just talking to some friends and was wondering if you can get any access to the tracks? So the public could have some fun on them.

Would say not, it is private property that generally gets rested for 1 to 2 years between events. Gives you some time to put in a cage and get your entry in if you want to drive them.

Thats one of the many benefits of joining a 4x4 club. Alot of there members have properties or access to properties like these fort social club trips. That way insurance is still applicable.

Well done to all the competitors who worked hard all weekend just to complete the stages and in doing so put on a great show for those that were lucky enough to get there!! For those that didn't there will be a DVD made that will be available very soon so keep an eye out for it.
A huge thanks must go to the marshal groups, some who worked all weekend; Vic All Terrain 4WD Club, Dandy Ranges 4WD Club, Yarra Valley 4WD Club, Goulburn Valley 4WD Club and The Team Mud Rhino crew. Without your dedication to the sport we wouldn't have a sport. Also to PGS for all the recoveries, (including the food vans!!) who worked hard all weekend and to Coops who, along with some helpers, put together some of the best stages I have ever seen!!
Cheers

Hi guys & girls – The official Engel Series 1 DVD now is well underway, and expected to be released within 6 weeks time.

The amount of footage we currently have is amazingly huge, but to add that personal touch we are seeking contributions of incab footage.

We will be accepting incab footage up until the end of this week (at the latest) – so if anyone is interested in contribution, please contact me via pm ASAP.

Full credit will be given to those who contribute.

Cheers,

Evan
