Who makes this bar???

Post by Pezooki »

Hi all.

I have had heaps of people ask me where I got my front bar from / who makes it?... The problem is that I purchased the car with the bar already on it, and there is NO stamps on it to tell me. It is an alloy bar, with a black hammertone finish (not sure if thats the original finish or not.)

Any info would be great!

Ill x3 that ECB. And ECB did have the option of getting hammer tone silver on their bars. Only thing that your bar has that most ECB bars don't is the middle two bars are finished into the front bumper where as ECB used a rubber/urethane what ever bumperette as underneath the tube was not finished of into the bar. If that makes sense...? :? And in saying that as the edges are finished could also mean its a TJM bar lol.... :P

The old ECB didn't use the bumperette thingy.

I vote ECB.

Thanks everyone for your replies!

It looks like it's an ECB then.

Alien - I agree that it would look great with no "headlight surrounds", but I need them as it's the only real spot to successfully mount my HF tapped antenna! :D

I think it looks good as it is anyway (and it isn't 'too bad' on the approach angles either.)

Cheers all,

Pez
