well we came home early,& left the rest of the guys to
continue playing.we had a problem on the 1st hillclimb.
we tore the rear diff out of its housing, just a minor setback
we might be putting the nissan running gear under quicker
than we thaught. the other guys had the usual issues
C/Vs, leading arm bushes, the odd axle,& they left a lot of there
paint behind on trees, forged some new trails & bluilt some bridges
all up, Spring Mtn still has some good tracks, but for how much
longer ???????

Its called "building the suspense".......
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

I am building a Scat for extreme off-road too, for the competition here in Belgium and once a year somewhere in europe (this summer in Roemenië)
this one have a Rocky 2.8tdi engine and original 5-speed gearbox, with Scat F20 axles and 37" tyres, not so much modifications, but i had not so much time for building it, Next winter i have more time and than i started to build a new one with bigger engine and coil suspension and bigger axles and maybe bigger tyres (42")
Greetings from a supporter from Belgium

Just wanted to know which countries had the 2.8tdi engine. I have an F300 Feroza. Thanks.

New Zealand was one country that sold the older style Rockys fitted with the 2.8TD motor/ solid front axles etc (very simular specs to the Toyota Blizard)
As far as Im aware (could be wrong ...quite often am  ) the F300/F310 Feroza was only ever released with the 1600cc petrol motor and with a choice of 5sd man or the rarer 3sp Auto box.

Only auto I know of was the Asin Warner lockup 4 speed.

Same core as the Jeep and Vitara - good box.

v6, t700 and lt230. Really don't know what I'll use it for, just had heaps of parts around the place so decided to do something with them. Superior All Terrain Challenge is all I want to enter for now, I'll have no chance against the buggie's but should be fun.
